Comprising of 50 states, there is so much to see and do in the United States that we are trying our best to take time off to see at least some of the wonders it has to offer
Our trip to the seaport city of Charleston was relatively short as we arrived mid-afternoon and stayed for only one day before continuing south to Georgia.This was one stop of many during our long awaited road trip as we went by some of the most well-known southern cities on our way to Missouri.
With renowned museums, numerous restaurants and a stunning architecture, Chicago is a city to envy. We have traveled to this town many times and from our first time to our latest trip, we have found the city to grow in its appeal with ever increasing attractions for new and recurring visitors.
The principle reason I have always wanted to go to Atlanta was to visit its renowned aquarium and since we were passing through the city on our way to Nashville, I had to go see it. Considered one of the largest is the world, the Georgia Aquarium is home to tens of thousands of animals, representing numerous different species where they live in particularly constructed habitats.
We have been fortunate to have visited D.C. several times since we started living in Boston and every time we go back, we strive to see something different. The Capital has a network of National Parks, renowned museums, amazing restaurants and a diverse number of neighborhoods that are worth spending extra time to explore.
Who says you have to be a country music fan to enjoy Nashville? This vibrant city is known for being the center of county music with venues such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as well as the famous Ryman Auditorium. The latter is the setting of the Grand Ole Opry an iconic country music concert venue that has showcased some of the greatest stars of the genre since its founding in 1925.
One of the greatest aspects of living in Boston, is the city’s close proximity to amazing towns, natural areas and to the several states located along the East Coast. New York City is located only three and a half hour drive from Boston and one of our favorite things to do is to grab the car, drive into town and uncover the city’s limitless attractions.
